All dental hygiene services are provided by students under the supervision of a licensed dentist and registered dental hygienist.

Services Provided
The Tulsa Community College Dental Hygiene Clinic provides the following dental hygiene services:
- Oral cleanings or non-surgical periodontal therapy depending on the patient’s oral health status
- Oral health education
- X-rays, sealants, subgingival drug placement, local anesthesia, and/or nitrous oxide sedation, based on dentist authorization
- Fluoride treatments
- Desensitization of teeth
- Several other services within the dental hygiene scope of practice
Dental services are not provided in the Dental Hygiene Clinic, including:
- Fillings
- Extractions
- Orthodontics
- Prosthetic appliances, etc.
These types of services must be secured by the patient through another entity.
Appointments
Interested patients must schedule a new patient application appointment by calling 918-595-7022. The new patient application appointment does not bind the Dental Hygiene Clinic to accept all patients; only patients who are appropriate for dental hygiene care in an educational facility will be accepted.
Cost
There are no cost for services provided at the clinic.
Hours of Operation
Days vary based on semester; Appointment times are 8:00am-11:00am and/or 1:00pm-4:00pm.

Note: The clinic is only open during the fall and spring academic semesters which are typically August through mid-December and January through mid-May.
